This very famous set of Irish coaching prints has been much reproduced but is offered here in its original state. The plates each depict charming scenes that show both mail and passengers being transported around rural Ireland in the early eighteenth century. John Harris was one of the most proficient aquatint engravers of his age and achieved his greatest notoriety for reproducing the sporting scenes of his contemporaries. He lived and worked in London producing a magnificent collection of sporting and military prints that have remained popular ever since.
