A charming pair of hand coloured aquatints by John Harris after the paintings by Charles Henderson; published as part of Fores's Coaching Recollections in London in 1842.

Charles Henderson had a predilection for coaching scenes and these six are perhaps his best loved images. He exhibited at The Royal Academy twice and spent most of his working life in London.

John Harris III (18111-1865) was an aquatint engraver of sporting subjects after his contemporaries, working in London for the two great publishing firms of Ackermann and Fores.
